The New Orleans Saints and Detroit Lions face off Sunday afternoon at Ford Field, and the game is still scheduled to take place after a Covid-19 scare. Saints fullback Michael Burton tested positive on his Saturday test, but it was re-run and was deemed to be a false positive.
Sunday’s schedule has already seen Titans-Steelers moved to Week 7 and Patriots-Chiefs moved to at least Monday or Tuesday due to positive Covid-19 tests. Saints-Lions would not necessarily have been automatically postponed, but re-testing and contact tracing likely would have delayed the game.
