Will Jets-Cardinals play as scheduled in Week 5?

The Jets-Cardinals game is now in peril of not playing on Sunday after a presumptive positive Covid-19 test.

The New York Jets have had a presumptive positive test for Covid-19, per Fro Football Talk. At this point they are checking to confirm the test’s validity, but the team has decided to close down their facility while that confirmation is made.

The Arizona Cardinals were supposed to fly to New Your on Friday, but it looks like they will wait until more is known. If this test is confirmed positive, we are so close to Sunday, that there is a good chance the NFL would look to push this game out as far as they can to allow for more testing.

As it is now, there is no definitive news until the test is confirmed or not. We will stay on top of the story as it develops.
