Ridiculous wind sends Daniel Carson kick flying vs. Browns [VIDEO]

Daniel Carson’s first kick against the Browns was sent sailing wide by a powerful gust of wind.

The wind in Sunday’s Week 8 matchup between the Las Vegas Raiders and Cleveland Browns is serious and will affect the outcome of the game in a major way. Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson got to experience a serious gust early on when he attempted a 41-yard field goal in the first quarter.

Carlson’s kick looked like it was headed through the uprights when it left his foot but was carried wide left in a dramatic fashion. The wind was expected to gust as much as 43 miles per hour at points ahead of this matchup but I don’t think anyone expected to see this.

I’m not sure there’s a way for kickers or quarterbacks to adjust to wind like this. If you took the under at 48 points ahead of kickoff, you’re in good shape. Now it’s time to sit back and wait for the Lance Stephenson edits that are sure to surface on Twitter after this absurd miss.
