Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf has always been an incredibly built wide receiver, and it is allowing him to grow increasingly dominant. Upon entering the NFL, he had a solid rookie season, catching 58 passes for 900 yards and seven touchdowns. In his second season, he’s on track to surpass those numbers. He entered Week 8 with 24 receptions for 519 yards and five touchdowns through six games, and through three quarters against the 49ers has another seven receptions for 109 yards and two touchdowns in Week 7.
NBA superstar LeBron James is taking notice. He posted to Instagram calling Metcalf “Baby Bron and said captioned the picture with “We built different.”
LeBron is not wrong. James is a physical specimen in is own right and dominates with an insane skillset for a basketball player his size. Metcalf is starting to show that himself. We see the strength, the speed, and he’s impressing with his hands and footwork as well. It’s only year two for Metcalf, but it’s hard not to be excited about his future.
