The Seattle Seahawks played one of their worst games of the season last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills. They will look to rebound against the rested Los Angeles Rams in Week 10.
Sure, Russell Wilson piled up 390 passing yards and three scores, but he also committed four turnovers to help the Seahawks (6-2) dig themselves into a 27-10 hole by halftime. Also “helping’ was Seattle’s horrendous pass defense. In that first half, Bills QB Josh Allen almost had the same number of touchdowns (three) as incompletions (four). The Seahawks’ banged-up backfield gained just 52 yards on 15 carries. DK Metcalf was just fine as he turned in a 7-108-1 line, but Tyler Lockett wasn’t so lucky. He finished with four catches and 40 yards.
The Rams (5-3) needed a week off to reassess after being beat down by the Miami Dolphins in Week 8. Jared Goff turned the ball over four times, including a fumble returned for a touchdown. But because the Rams trailed by three scores at halftime, Goff chucked the ball 61 times, leading to plenty of opportunity for Robert Woods and Cooper Kupp. Woods scored as a runner and a receiver while Kupp turned 20 targets (!) into 11 receptions for 110 yards.

Fantasy football start/sit advice
DK Metcalf, WR, $7,500
Only Davante Adams and DeAndre Hopkins have higher prices among wide receivers this week. He’s a complete monster, but will he be worth it against Jalen Ramsey and a pass defense that has allowed the fewest receiving yards and second-fewest points per game to wideouts? He probably won’t crush your odds of cashing, but he probably doesn’t have quite as high of a ceiling as he normally does.
Tyler Lockett, WR, $6,100
And if there’s a little concern about Metcalf this week, there has to be a near panic-button-level of worry with Lockett in this matchup. Outside of his ridiculous explosion against the Cardinals in Week 7, Lockett has been held to no more than four catches, 50 yards and nine fantasy points since Week 3. You likely have to still roll with him as a WR3 in season-long leagues, but you should probably look elsewhere at that price.
Jared Goff, QB, $6,500
Yes, he was brutal in Week 8, but Goff is set to be one of the most popular DFS plays in Week 10. Obviously, it’s about the matchup. The Seahawks’ pass defense is the worst in the game, and it’s not even close right now. With some quality, dependable receivers by his side, Goff looks like he has a 20-point floor in DraftKings. That would still be 10 points less than opposing quarterbacks’ weekly average against Seattle.
Josh Reynolds, WR, $3,500
If you’re starting Goff, you are probably looking to stack him with Kupp ($6,900) and/or Woods ($6,600). But how about Reynolds, who has seen 17 targets across Los Angeles’ last two games? He has compiled eight catches, 96 yards and one TD with those looks, and given the matchup, you’d have to believe he’ll see another 7-9 targets in this one. If so, he is almost guaranteed to hit value, especially given his ability to take the top off of the defense.
