The Washington Football Team is romping over the Dallas Cowboys, and it’s due in large part to running back Antonio Gibson. The Washington defense has had a big game as well, but Gibson has dominated on his way to 115 rushing yards and three touchdowns. Washington is rolling with a 41-16 lead.
Gibson got off to a decent but up and down start for his rookie season. However, in Week 7, he started to turn things on. He rushed for 128 yards and a touchdown in a 25-3 win over Dallas. He followed that with 1, 2, and 1 touchdowns the past three weeks after Washington’s bye and now had another three on top of it.
Gibson likely won’t beat out Justin Herbert for the Offensive Rookie of the Year, but he seems a lock to get an All-Rookie team nod. If he keeps up his performance the past few weeks, he could also end up with a Pro Bowl spot.
Here’s video of his three touchdowns.
