The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have activated wide receiver Antonio Brown to their 53-man roster. The team signed him and had to wait out his 8-game suspension. He is now a member of the active roster and eligible to play in Week 9 against the New Orleans Saints.
Brown is still under investigation by the league for multiple accusations of sexual assault. He could face another suspension, but until the NFL finishes that investigation, Brown is eligible to play.
The Bucs plan for Brown is not clear at this point. Mike Evans is back from injury but is not 100 percent. Chris Godwin remains out with a finger injury and is uncertain for Week 9. Brown has been added to over 70 percent of rosters in ESPN leagues, but it’s a tough decision whether or not to move him into your starting lineup just yet. Brown is worth adding if you’ve got a roster spot, but it might be worth waiting a week before inserting im in your starting lineup.
