The Jacksonville Jaguars bid for a top draft pick continues in Week 15 when they travel to face the Baltimore Ravens. The Jaguars are going to be long-shots no matter what, but they’re making a change at quarterback this week. Head coach Doug Marrone announced on Monday that Gardner Minshew will move back into the starting quarterback role.
Jake Luton had replaced Minshew when the latter injured his thumb in Week 7. Luton struggled mightily and Mike Glennon replaced him in Week 12. Glennon had a solid first game against the Browns, completing 57.1 percent of passes and throwing two touchdown passes. However, things went south from there and the team is moving back to Minshew.
The Jaguars are on track for the No. 2 pick, with a shot at the No. 1 pick if the Jets can win a game. Whether Jacksonville holds the first or second pick, they’re likely to find a new quarterback to replace this current group of starters.
