Both of these teams have struggled throughout the course of 2020. The Cowboys saw starting QB Dak Prescott go down early in the season and haven’t looked the same since. Cowboys RB Ezekiel Elliot hasn’t had a memorable season at all, eclipsing 100 yards only one time this season. It probably won’t get much better this week as SF limits teams to just 105 total rushing yards per game on average.
The 49ers are trying to snap a two-game losing streak. San Francisco also saw their starter go down with an injury and are now relying on backup Nick Mullens to lead the team. He’s failed to throw for 250 or more yards more than once in their last four games, so the passing attack probably won’t be the way they get the job done this week. The Dallas defense gives up close to 200 yards per game on the ground each week, so look for a heavy dose of runs from SF.

Fantasy football start/sit advice
Raheem Mostert, RB $5,800
Mostert is just getting his footing back after missing nearly a month due to an injury earlier in the season. The Dallas defense is the perfect group to get his groove back against.
Brandon Aiyuk, WR, $6,300
He has three scores over his last four games and is clearly Mullens’ favorite target. With yet another injury to fellow wideout Deebo Samuel, Aiyuk should continue to lead the team in targets and receiving yards.
CeeDee Lamb, WR $4,500
With Amari Cooper lining up on the other side, Lamb will probably go under the radar for the San Fran defense, giving him an opportunity to have a huge game.
Cowboys D/ST, $2,700
Mullens makes a lot of mistakes and throws a ton of interceptions. This unit should be able to get a turnover or two on the afternoon.
