The Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers are set to square off at Heinz Field on Wednesday, December 2nd. Kickoff is set for 3:40 p.m. and the game will be broadcast on NBC. Fans will be able to watch via live online stream at NBCSports.com/live.
The game was originally scheduled for Thanksgiving night but Covid-19 resulted in it being rescheduled three times. It was moved to Sunday, then Tuesday, and finally Wednesday as positive tests piled up. The Ravens were more impacted, but the Steelers have had their own issues.
The Wednesday 3:40 p.m. kickoff time is certainly an odd one for the NFL. It had been scheduled for Tuesday in prime time, but a prior engagement for NBC is why the game is airing when it is. On Wednesday evening at 8 p.m., NBC is airing the 88th annual Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree lighting ceremony. The broadcast runs until 10 p.m. and could not move it.
Didn’t see that one coming!
