Seahawks-Washington on-field footage looks like a virtual reality game thanks to 4k camera

You didn’t just imagine the high-quality video aired on what was initially ruled a Freddie Swain touchdown.

UPDATE: We’ve got a look at what the camera looks like for the funky views. It’s nicknamed “The Megalodon.”

If you thought for a second that Seattle Seahawks wide receivers Freddie Swain and Tyler Lockett were live and in your living room, you’re not alone. Swain caught a 39-yard ball against the Washington Football Team that was originally ruled a touchdown, and the celebration captured was perhaps the highest-quality video content we’ve seen out of the NFL to date.

Swain was ruled out of bounds on the replay, but it doesn’t change the fact that this footage was straight out of Madden 2035. Welcome to the future.
