The New Orleans Saints have managed to win two straight games with Taysom Hill filling in for the injured Drew Brees and will get a chance to sweep their season series with the Atlanta Falcons in Week 13 at Mercedes-Benz Stadium.
Hill hasn’t thrown a touchdown pass this year but has run for four scores in his first two NFL starts. His mobility appears to have made Alvin Kamara obsolete, as Latavius Murray has taken over the as the Saints’ lead back over the last two weeks. It’ll be interesting to see Hill will throw the ball enough to challenge the Falcons’ porous secondary after completing just nine passes for 78 yards in Week 11.
Atlanta has had its best defensive showing of the year on Sunday and held the Las Vegas Raiders to six points in a 42-6 win. The offense looked limited without Todd Gurley, who missed the matchup with a knee injury. The Saints have stuffed the run all year long, so Matt Ryan’s arm could have to be at its best in Week 13.

Fantasy football start/sit advice
Saints
Taysom Hill, QB, $6,300
Hill is doing all the Saints scoring and has run for 93 yards and four scores on 20 attempts in his last two outings. Getting a passing touchdown would be a bonus. Hill’s rushing upside alone is enough to justify starting him against one of the worst defenses in the NFL.
Latavius Murray, RB, $5,900
Murray reached season highs in attempts (19), rushing yards (124), and scores (2) in Week 12 and has been splitting snaps with Kamara down the middle. New Orleans is averaging 40 rushing attempts per game when Hill starts so there’s a good chance Murray will get close to 15 touches.
Falcons
Matt Ryan, QB, $5,600
The Saints are solid against every skill position on DraftKings but struggle to stop quarterbacks more than they do running backs or wide receivers. Ryan’s receiving corps can pick apart any secondary when it’s running hot. If Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley are healthy the Falcons could be very productive through the air on their home turf.
Calvin Ridley, WR, $7,200
Ridley leads Atlanta in receptions, receiving yards, and touchdowns but likely won’t draw the toughest matchup most of the time if Jones (hamstring) is healthy. He’s scored at least 14 DKFP eight times in 10 games.
