The Baltimore Ravens have activated quarterback Lamar Jackson from the Covid-19, per the Athletic’s Jeff Zrebiec. Zrebiec reports that Jackson did practice on Sunday and will start on Tuesday night against the Cowboys.
The Ravens last played on Wednesday against the Steelers and lost with Jackson and others out due to Covid-19. For this game against the Cowboys, the Ravens will get back some key players like J.K. Dobbins, Mark Ingram Calais Campbell, Jihad Ward, Patrick Ricard, Justin Madubuike and of course Jackson.
The Ravens are still very much in the playoff hunt, but will need to come on strong to finish out the season. A game against the 3-8 Cowboys should help get them back on the winning side of things, while they then get to face the 1-11 Jaguars, 5-7 Giants and Bengals 2-9 Bengals to finish up the season. If they can’t get into the playoffs with that schedule, then there are likely some deeper issues that need to be addressed this offseason.
