Full list of 2020 free agent quarterbacks

NFL free agents can begin signing new contracts on March 18th. We have a full list of quarterbacks who are currently set to hit free agency, and will update as players sign new deals.

The quiet part of the early 2020 NFL offseason is officially a wrap, and free agency is just around the corner. Unrestricted free agents can officially begin talking to teams on March 16th in the negotiation window the league established. They cannot sign a deal until March 18th, but numerous deals are all but completed in that window. Teams and agents have already been talking on the down low, but on March 16th, it comes out into the light.

The quarterback market is deep at the moment, but by the time free agency opens, most of the big names will likely either be off the market or be franchised. Drew Brees is expected to return to the New Orleans Saints, while Dak Prescott and Ryan Tannehill are each likely to get the franchise tag in Dallas and Tennessee, respectively. Jameis Winston is a high upside, high downside quarterback whose future is not entirely clear in Tampa Bay, while Teddy Bridgewater will get a chance to find a starting spot after backing up Brees the past two years.

It’s possible that Philip Rivers and Tom Brady could make or break this market. Rivers is not returning to the Los Angeles Chargers, so we know he’ll be moving to a new team in 2020. Brady could hit free agency for the first time in his career, but it’s hard to see the Patriots not pushing hard to get a deal done before even the negotiating period opens.

Below is a full list of free agents, sortable by name, old team, and new team. We’ll update as news arrives on the various players.
