Dana White pitches Tom Brady on joining the Las Vegas Raiders

UFC President Dana White and soon to be free agent quarterback Tom Brady have some history. Watch White pitch Brady on coming to Las Vegas to play football.

NFL free agency is two weeks away, and that means we’re that much closer to Tom Brady making a decision about his future. The New England Patriots quarterback is due to hit free agency when it opens on March 18th, and there is no indication yet that he will re-sign with the Patriots before then.

There has been some chatter about the Las Vegas Raiders planning an aggressive offer, and a noted Las Vegas resident is down with that. Dana White, president of Las Vegas-based UFC, had a chance to chat with Brady on the phone recently. He posted some video of his discussion in which he pitches the Raiders as a landing spot.

Brady wouldn’t take the bait on the Raiders, but he did talk about having this opportunity for the first time. He said he would be taking a vacation with his family and spending the next 10 or 12 days enjoying his time with them. That lines up with the start of the free agency negotiating period, so we could be looking at this all lining up for the bidding to begin.
