Full 2020 NFL Monday Night Football schedule

The NFL returns for another season of arguably its flagship program of Monday Night Football. We break down the full schedule on ESPN and streaming on WatchESPN for 2020.

The NFL announced the 2020 schedule on Thursday, and we’ve got the full rundown for all the Monday Night Fooball matchups. The season is scheduled to start on Thursday, September 10th, with the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Houston Texans, and the season will wrap up on Sunday, February 7, 2021 with Super Bowl 55. The Covid-19 pandemic might have something to say about that, but for the time being the NFL is moving forward as though the season will start on time.

ESPN Monday Night Football broadcasters Joe Tessitore and Booger McFarland haven’t captured the hearts of football fans, meaning we will have a new booth in 2020. Tony Romo was their slam dunk candidate, but CBS outbid ESPN and retained Romo for $17 million a year. They also couldn’t lure Peyton Manning with $18 to $20 million a year. We’ll likely get a more cost efficient booth this season with ESPN making another run at Manning for 2021.

We get a mammoth matchup in Week 3 this year, with the Ravens hosting the Chiefs. In Week 12, Seahawks-Eagles will likely have NFC playoff implications. Bills-49ers in Week 13 is a fun hypothetical for the Chris Berman Super Bowl.

You can check out each Monday night game below. Plus, we’ll be breaking down more of the schedule, including a rundown of the full season schedule, the best and worst matchups, and plenty more. All times listed are Eastern.
