Denver Broncos safety Kareem Jackson has tested positive for Covid-19, according to multiple reports. ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting Jackson is the only Broncos player known to have tested positive after approximately 40 players took part in Denver area.

Jackson subsequently told 9NEWS in Denver that he started feeling congested two days before and had some chills when he woke up on Wednesday. He went and got tested and got the results in short order. Jackson said the doctor told him he would not have gotten it at the protest given the timing of the symptoms.

In April, Von Miller tested positive for Covid-19. He went through two weeks of quarantine, and said it took him time to get back in shape for the cardio aspects of football. Miller also has asthma, which did not help matters with the illness or his recovery. 9NEWS reporter Mike Klis said Miller was able to eventually resume his normally strenuous workouts.
