Madden Stream Results

Offense comes late but Packers beat Vikings, 20-13 — 3/29/20

It was 6-3 after three quarters, but both offenses showed up late in what turned out to be a close win for the Packers in Sunday’s first Madden Stream of a virtual tripleheader. It took a dramatic virtual booth review to confirm the Packers’ first touchdown scored by Davante Adams ($10,600 in single-game Showdown), and Aaron Jones ($8,200) added a second score later in the fourth quarter. Minnesota’s touchdown was surprisingly scored by Olabisi Johnson ($1,600), who had just that one catch for 40 yards and 11 DKFP. Adams was the right option as Captain’s Pick as he finished with 21.6 DKFP on six catches for 96 yards to go with his touchdown. Jones finished with 16.95 DKFP and Aaron Rodgers ($10,400) edged Kirk Cousins ($9,600) 13.88 DKFP to 12.24 DKFP.

Potential winning FG and Cowboys come up short; Packers win 16-14 — 4/5/20

In another close Madden Stream, Dallas rallied back from an early deficit and had a chance to win as time expired, but Kai Forbath missed a field goal after Dak Prescott ($10,000; 8.68 DKFP) led the Cowboys into FG range after starting the drive at his own one-yard line. It was a big game for big-name WR as Davante Adams ($9,800; 15.4 DKFP) and Amari Cooper ($9,400; 15.2 DKFP) both had big games. Cooper and Ezekiel Elliott ($9,000; 9.7 DKFP) scored the Cowboys’ touchdowns while Allan Lazard ($3,400; 8.0 DKFP) caught the only Packers score. Mason Crosby ($3,200; 11 DKFP) did the rest of the work for the Packers going a perfect 3-for-3 on FG attempts, which proved to be the difference in the game since Forbath missed his only FG attempt.

49ers hold on to defeat Packers in Madden simulation — 4/17/20

George Kittle ($9,000; 37.0 DKFP) had been surprising silent in each of San Francisco’s past two simulations. In fact, since DraftKings made the switch to Arcade Mode, the All-Pro tight end has basically been invisible. Well, that trend quickly came to an end in the 49ers’ 22-17 victory over Green Bay on Friday night. Kittle caught 10 passes for 180 yards and a touchdown in the win, a stat line that doesn’t even factor in that Kittle had a third quarter touchdown taken back due to a review. On the Packers’ side of things, it was Geronimo Allison ($2,200; 25.6 DKFP) providing all the value, finishing with 106 yards and a touchdown of his own.

Chiefs dominate Packers in Madden simulation — 4/20/20

In what amounted to a strangely low-scoring contest between two of Madden’s most prolific QBs, Kansas City took down Green Bay by a 23-7 margin on Monday evening. However, if the point total was somewhat surprising, the game’s best performer when exactly to script. As has been the case in nearly even Chiefs stream so far, Travis Kelce ($8,600; 25.3 DKFP) was basically an unstoppable force in the victory, hauling in six passes for 103 yards and a touchdown. The Pro Bowl tight end paired well with Patrick Mahomes ($11,600; 18.7 DKFP), who finished the tilt with 267 yards through the air and a pair of passing TDs.

Packers defeat Saints in Madden simulation — 4/23/20

After basically disappearing from a matchup against New England on Sunday, Tre’Quan Smith ($5,200; 20.6 DKFP) clearly came to play this afternoon against Green Bay. It wasn’t enough to get his squad the victory, as the Packers emerged with a 24-17 win, but Smith’s performance was impressive all the same. Smith racked up 101 receiving yards on seven receptions – the first time in these simulations that the wideout has reached the bonus. As for Green Bay, they were led by Davante Adams ($9,400; 14.6 DKFP) and Aaron Jones ($8,000; 13.4 DKFP), with each one scoring a touchdown in the stream.

Patriots smother Packers in Madden simulation — 4/27/20

For a contest that featured both Tom Brady ($11,600; 6.2 DKFP) and Aaron Rodgers ($11,400; 13.7 DKDP), tonight’s simulation between New England and Green Bay was pretty low-scoring. The visitors ended up winning the game by a final tally of 20-15, but the biggest play of the evening came from the Patriots’ DST ($4,400; 14.0 DKFP). Down 9-3 in the third quarter, Devin McCourty picked off Rodgers and took it back to the house for six. Without question, it changed the course of this stream. James White ($8,200; 16.0 DKFP) would then score a late touchdown to cement the victory. The RB finished with 70 scrimmage yards.

Patriots smother Packers in Madden simulation — 4/29/20

I am not sure if the simulated Rodgers ($11,600; 31.76 DKFP) found out the Packers drafted a QB in the first-round to replace him in the real NFL Draft, but he sure played like it in the 45-13 Green Bay victory. Rodgers went for 319 yards and four touchdowns, hitting Davante Adams ($11,200; 33.2 DKFP) four times for 142 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Adams was rostered at 7.5% in the captain spot, where he went for 49.8 DKFP in the winning lineup. Current Chicago Bear Jimmy Graham ($7,600; 23.9 DKFP) snagged the other two touchdown passes from Rodgers, finishing with 79 yards on four grabs.

Packers demolish Texans in Madden simulation — 5/3/20

Is the real Aaron Rodgers ($11,000; 22.5 DKFP) finally starting to show up in these simulations? The former MVP had done little to impress people early on in DraftKings’ Madden streams; however, after a three-touchdown performance this evening in a 38-18 victory over Houston, Rodgers has now thrown seven TDs in his past two starts. The main beneficiary of this recent success aside from owners? Davante Adams ($9,600; 24.8 DKFP), of course. Adams has reeled in four of those seven passing touchdowns, including two this afternoon in the win. He’d finish with five catches for 78 yards in total.

Rams edge Packers in Madden sim shootout — 5/6/20

After a 13-10 snooze-fest between the Eagles and Patriots, the Rams and Packers picked up the pace in the following game. Jared Goff ($10,000; 27.6 DKFP) racked up an insane 415 passing yards, along with a pair of touchdowns in the 41-38 win. All those yards were spread evenly among his WR, with Robert Woods ($7,600; 29.5 DKFP), Brandin Cooks ($7,000; 21.4 DKFP) and Cooper Kupp ($9,400; 20.3 DKFP) all recording at least seven receptions for over 100 yards. All that offense, and Todd Gurley ($7,800; 37 DKFP) was still the star of the show — finding the end zone three times and combining for 140 yards, earning those that captained him 55.5 DKFP. Jimmy Graham ($6,800; 26.2 DKFP) led the way for the Packers with a 7-72-2 line.

Steelers win tight game over Packers — 5/9/20

There wasn’t much offense in this one as the Steelers took down the Packers by a final score of 20-17. One of the only Packers’ score came from its defense ($4,200; 9.0 DKFP), which also picked up a pair of sacks and was one of the top values on the slate. The overall top fantasy producer was Juju Smith-Schuster ($9,800; 17.7 DKFP). The Steelers’ top receiver had five catches for 67 yards and a touchdown.

Packers squeak past Bears in Madden simulation — 5/11/20

It wasn’t always pretty – particularly after Aaron Rodgers ($11,400; 18.8 DKFP) threw a first-half pick-six – but Green Bay found a way to get it done on Monday night. Thanks to a last minute field goal, the Packers emerged from this NFC North battle with a 20-17 victory. However, from a fantasy perspective, the big winners were specifically Green Bay’s wide receivers. In fact, almost every single one had some level of success in this stream. Davante Adams ($10,800; 25.3 DKFP) finished with 103 yards and a touchdown; Marquez Valdes-Scantling ($5,400; 16.4 DKFP) collected seven catches for 94 yards; and even Allen Lazard ($3,400; 9.3 DKFP) found the end zone on one of his two grabs.

Special teams help Ravens to victory over Packers in Madden sim– 5/13/20

Davante Adams ($10,400; 17.6 DKFP) and Marquise Brown ($8,400; 13 DKFP) each caught touchdowns for their teams, but there was a lack of offensive production in this one. Lamar Jackson ($11,600; 17.42 DKFP) still made an impact, thanks to 61 rushing yards, but it was the kicking game that made a difference in the 16-7 win for the Ravens. Justin Tucker ($4,200; 10 DKFP) was rostered at 0.6% in the captain’s spot, but his 15 DKFP there were good enough to help the winning lineup.

Packers blowout the Colts to finish Friday night’s slate– 5/15/20

This game was one-sided from the start. Green Bay ended up winning 26-7 in a game that was never really competitive. The Packers’ standout performer was Davante Adams ($10,200; 26.1 DKFP). He caught a pair of touchdown passes and was the highest scoring fantasy player in the game. Of course, a big game for Adams meant a good night for Aaron Rodgers ($11,000; 19.12 DKFP). He may be feuding with the Packers in real life because of their draft picks, but it isn’t effecting his video game play. Rodgers racked up three touchdown passes in the win. For the Colts, T.Y. Hilton ($9,600; 19.4 DKFP) was the one player with a good fantasy game. He scored their only touchdown and had 94 receiving yards.

Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers fly past the Jets in a 17-14 win– 5/17/20

The Jets had no answers for Adams ($10,600; 31.8), who racked up 188 receiving yards and a touchdown on his six catches while Aaron Rodgers ($11,400; 23.38 DKFP) hit the 300-yard bonus and threw for a pair of scores. The other touchdown went to seldom-used Allen Lazard ($3,200; 8.7 DKFP), who was a key value play in the winning lineup. Le’Veon Bell ($9,400; 16.3 DKFP) only managed 12 rushing yards, but saved his fantasy day with five catches for 41 yards and a touchdown. TE2 Chris Herndon ($2,000; 7.4 DKFP) scored the other touchdown for the Jets.

Packers hold on to defeat Seahawks in Madden simulation– 5/21/20

In what could be described as a classic Russell Wilson ($11,400; 31.2 DKFP) script, Seattle’s quarterback carried his team this evening, but it wasn’t quite enough against Aaron Rodgers ($11,000; 19.3 DKFP) and Green Bay. Still, that doesn’t take away from the amazing performance. Wilson joined only a handful of QBs who have managed to scramble for over 100 yards in a stream, finishing the contest with 104 yards on the ground and 170 yards through the air. He’d also manage both a rushing and passing touchdown. Now to be completely outdone, Rodgers was good, too. In fact, the former MVP registered 210 passing yards to go along with three TDs in the 21-18 victory.

Tim saves the sim! Patrick catches game-winner for the Broncos — 5/24/20
It looked like the Packers were going to escape the Mile High City with a win after the rarely-used and little-owned FB Danny Vitale hauled in a score just after the two-minute warning. However, the Broncos marched down the field and got the game-winning touchdown with just under 10 seconds left from Tim Patrick ($4,400; 18.3 DKFP), who had only three catches for 33 yards but found the end zone twice. Drew Lock ($10,800; 14.62 DKFP) threw for just under 200 yards and those two scores. The big contributors for the Packers were Jimmy Graham ($7,600; 21.7 DKFP), who racked up 117 yards on his seven catches and Mason Crosby ($4,000; 10 DKFP).

Raiders hold on to defeat Packers in Madden simulation — 5/28/20
Tyrell Williams ($8,000; 30.1 DKFP) was one of the most popular plays in the Captain’s slot for Thursday’s Showdown contest between Oakland and Green Bay, with an ownership rate of 10.7%. Well, that group of people were very happy following the Raiders’ 20-14 victory. Williams went off in the win, racking up eight receptions for 131 yards and a touchdown. It’s the wideout’s fifth score in his past five starts and just the second time in these simulations that Williams has surpassed the 30.0 DKFP threshold. His QB, Derek Carr ($11,000; 20.1 DKFP), was also effective, though he’d miss out on the 300-yard passing bonus by just nine yards.

Packers pullout come from behind win over Falcons — 5/30/20
This game went back and forth and had a few lead changes. Leading the way, Aaron Rodgers ($11,200; 24.76 DKFP) had two passing touchdowns and added another one on the ground. His touchdown passes went to Marquez Valdes-Scantling ($4,600; 14.8 DKFP) and Davante Adams ($10,200; 20.9 DKFP). A 94 overall in Madden, it seems like Adams catches a touchdown almost every sim. Julio Jones ($10,400; 24.4 DKFP) had over 100 receiving yards for the Falcons, but it wasn’t quite enough for them to come away with a win.

Aaron Rodgers and the Packers achieve simulated victory — 6/2/20
Though they fell behind a bizarre 3-2 early, the Packers’ stormed back and made easy work of the Buccaneers in Tuesday’s simulated 28-10 win. Rodgers ($11,600; 21.36 DKFP) led the way with 234 yards and three TDs. Allen Lazard ($3,200; 17.3 DKFP) made efficient use of his only two catches, logging 33 yards and scoring on both. Mike Evans ($10,400; 14 DKFP) was the leading scorer for the Bucs, turning his six catches into 80 yards.

Packers crush Browns in Madden simulation– 6/5/20

In a game that was pretty one-sided, Davante Adams ($10,600; 29.2 DKFP) was the star performer for Green Bay. The wideout registered nine catches for 112 yards and a touchdown, helping lead the Packers to a commanding 34-10 victory. Seriously, this one was never even close, as Green Bay got out to a quick 14-0 lead thanks to rushing touchdowns from both Aaron Jones ($7,800; 14.5 DKFP) and Jamaal Williams ($2,600; 13.4 DKFP). In fact, for the latter RB, it was the first time he’d ever exceeded 10.0 DKFP in one of these simulations. As for Cleveland, David Njoku ($6,800; 11.9 DKFP) salvaged a disappointing evening with a meaningless fourth quarter TD of his own.

D.J. Chark’s big game not enough as Packers beat Jaguars, 27-21– 6/7/20

Chark ($8,000; 34.7 DKFP) continued to be a dominant force as the Jaguars’ WR1, finishing with six catches for 121 yards and a pair of touchdowns. His two scores weren’t enough in this contest, though, since the Packers added a pair of Mason Crosby ($4,200; 11 DKFP) FGs to their three touchdowns. Aaron Rodgers ($11,400; 15.06 DKFP) threw two scores: one to Davante Adams ($10,600; 18.5 DKFP) and one to Marquez Valdes-Scantling ($6,200; 17.9 DKFP). Little-used FB Danny Vitale ($1,000; 6.6 DKFP) had the other touchdown on the ground for Green Bay.

Josh Allen leads Bills to dominant simulated win– 6/9/20

Allen ($10,800; 31.38 DKFP) and the Bills made easy work of the Packers in Tuesday’s simulated 27-9 win. Allen was effective in the passing game with 183 yards and a TD, but he was most effective on the ground – rushing for 109 yards and a score. The game’s next biggest scorer was the recipient of that lone TD pass, TE Tyler Kroft ($5,200; 17 DKFP), who also hauled in 60 yards on his five catches. The Packers’ offense was mostly ineffective, with Aaron Rodgers ($12,000; 12.2 DKFP) as the only double-digit scorer. He threw for just 140 yards, getting the majority of his DKFP on a 6-yard TD run.
