With real-life sports still in the midst of an extended time out, DraftKings continues to provide some great sports simulations to fill the void. Each day there are six Madden Streams with eight free contests to be a part of. You can play a single-game Showdown for each contest along with an all-day, six-game classic contest and a three-game late slate contest. Each simulation will be played out via an online Madden Stream using Madden 2020 with rosters and ratings from the end of the 2019-20 season. In this format, you can enjoy watching the game stream on the DraftKings YouTube channel, the DK Live app (download here) or right here in this post. Follow along to watch your fantasy team pile up fantasy points.
After two days off for the holiday weekend, the DraftKings Dream Stream is back with a full six-game slate Monday. The Jets and Bucs kick things off to start the day at 12 p.m. ET as we reach the 32nd sim for each of these teams. The Panthers and Cardinals meet at 2 p.m. ET followed by the Colts taking on the Falcons at 4 p.m. ET. The 6 p.m. ET matchup is the Jaguars visiting the Browns, which is a nice warmup for the primetime matchup between the Packers and Saints, featuring two of the best QBs in these sims. The final matchup of the day is the Bears in Dallas to take on the Cowboys in “Madden After Dark.”
With those 12 teams in play, there are many different ways to build your roster for Monday’s slate. I’ll give you my favorite plays at each position and price point for this six-game slate below. For more information, check out the Madden info page for all the data on player ratings, special abilities and what you can look forward to coming soon.
Dak Prescott, DAL vs. CHI, $6,500 — Prescott isn’t one of the top three most-expensive QBs on this slate but has plenty of upside and makes a solid play at home against Chicago. He has averaged 18.0 DKFP per sim with 43 passing touchdowns in addition to his six rushing touchdowns. He has averaged just over 47 rushing yards and 170 passing yards per sim. He had 21.5 DKFP in his most recent sim against the Panthers and has over 20 DKFP in 10 of his 31 sims, including his first matchup against the Bears, when he had 26.64 DKFP in a 27-24 loss at virtual Soldier Field.
Other Options — Drew Brees ($7,700), Aaron Rodgers ($7,200)
Mitchell Trubisky, CHI at DAL, $5,700 — Trubisky outplayed Dak in that earlier sim, piling up 31.36 DKFP with two passing touchdowns and a rushing touchdown against Dallas. He is averaging 20.4 DKFP per contest. He had 22.6 DKFP against the Eagles in his most recent sim and has over 20 DKFP in 15 of his 31 contests. His rushing prowess has made him a great option in these sims, as he has added 10 rushing touchdowns and over 45 rushing yards per sim. He’s still remarkably affordable under $6K and a great way to save salary and still have an elite ceiling with your QB.
Other Options — Jameis Winston ($6,100), Jacoby Brissett ($5,600)
Leonard Fournette, JAX at CLE, $6,400 — Fournette has 15 touchdowns in his 30 sims and has averaged over 75 rushing yards per game and a couple catches per sim. He’s a true No. 1 back for the Jaguars and gets all the carries and catches for Jacksonville. Fournette has had a couple of rough sims lately against the 49ers and Vikings but will get a much easier matchup against the Browns, who he had 128 yards, a touchdown and 24.8 DKFP against in the teams’ first simulated meeting.
Other Option — Ezekiel Elliott ($7,200), Alvin Kamara ($6,700)
Devonta Freeman, ATL vs IND, $5,900 — Like Fournette, Freeman is an every down back who carries the load for his team. He also gets a very good matchup against Indy. Freeman had a massive 34.9-DKFP performance against the Browns in his most recent sim and has over 21 DKFP in four of his past six. His involvement as a regular receiver in the Atlanta passing game gives him both a high ceiling and a high floor since he has 109 catches in his 31 sims (3.5 receptions per sim).
Other Options — Tarik Cohen ($3,600), Nyheim Hines ($3,300)

Michael Thomas, NO vs. GB, $8,200 — Thomas is the highest-rated WR in all of Madden with his 99 overall rating and he has been living up to the hype lately with six touchdowns in his past five sims and over 28 DKFP in four of those contests. He has been very reliable and has an immensely high ceiling with over 100 yards in 10 of his past 27 sims. The Packers have a solid secondary, but there isn’t anyone who can match up one-on-one with Thomas and take him out of the game.
Other Options — Mike Evans ($7,400), Odell Beckham Jr. ($7,100)
Calvin Ridley, ATL vs. IND, $4,600 — Ridley had a quiet game in his most recent sim, earning just 6.0 DKFP against the Browns. But before that he had a pair of strong sims with over 12 DKFP in two of his previous three to raise his average to 12.8 DKFP per contest. He has scored 15 touchdowns in his 31 sims and has a high ceiling in a favorable matchup against the Colts’ struggling secondary.
Ted Ginn Jr., NO at GB, $3,500 — Ginn has flourished across from Thomas throughout these sims and has piled up 19 touchdowns, including four in his past four sims and six in his past seven. He had at least five catches in five straight games before hauling in just three catches in his most recent contest against Washington. He still had a score and 11.7 DKFP, though, and has over 11 DKFP in nine of his past 11 games. He also has a 92 speed rating and 90 elusiveness rating, which makes him a big-play threat every time he touches the ball
Other Options — D.J. Chark Jr. ($5,700), Geronimo Allison ($3,000)
O.J. Howard, TB vs. NYJ, $5,000 — Howard has been one of the best TEs in these sims and a very reliable part of the Buccaneers’ offense. He has over 50 yards in five straight sims and is averaging 58.7 yards per game. He has found the end zone 13 times and beat the Jets for 110 yards and 19.0 DFKP even without a touchdown in the teams’ first sim meeting. While the Bucs’ WRs have been hit-or-miss, Howard has been dialed in with Winston and very involved in most of Tampa’s sims.
Other Options — Jared Cook ($5,300), Eric Ebron ($4,800)
David Njoku, CLE vs. JAX, $4,100 — Despite asking for a trade in real life, Njoku has been red-hot in simland with over 17 DKFP in three straight sims after producing 19.3 DKFP against the Falcons his most recent time out. He has at least seven catches in each of those three sims and has been a great go-to for Baker Mayfield ($6,000). Njoku is averaging over 12 DKFP on over 55 yards per sim to go with his seven touchdowns on the sim season.
Other Options — Trey Burton ($4,500), James O’Shaughnessy ($3,700)
Panthers DST vs. ARI, $2,700 — The Panthers have forced 32 turnovers in 31 sims mostly due to the power of Luke Kuechly and his 99 overall rating. The DST has recovered 25 fumbles and scored four defensive touchdowns while piling up 66 sacks. Carolina will have a great matchup against the Cardinals, whose offense has struggled and been turnover-prone.
Other Options — Falcons ($3,200), Packers ($3,000)
Jets DST at TB, $2,600 — The Jets’ DST has been almost as effective at creating turnovers as the Panthers with Jamal Adams wreaking havoc from his spot in the secondary. The Jets just played the Cardinals and had 19 DKFP with three takeaways and a pair of defensive touchdowns to raise the unit’s average to 7.2 DKFP per sim. New York had just over that with 8.0 DKFP against the Bucs in the teams’ first meeting and the unit is a solid pivot if you don’t want to go with Carolina.
Other Option — Cowboys ($2,500), Jaguars ($2,100)
