Greg Ehrenberg gives his top studs and value plays at each position for Monday’s three-game late Madden Stream slate on DraftKings, which starts at 6:00 p.m. ET.

We’re all in need of some entertainment during these times of the unknown. DraftKings is doing its part by offering Madden simulations with a variety of teams going at it. For this piece, we’ll focus on the three-game late slate on Monday, which starts at 6:00 p.m. ET.

Drew Brees, NO vs. GB ($7,700)

If you are looking to pay up at quarterback, we have two options. Either Brees or Aaron Rodgers ($7,200) and they are playing against each other. Since Brees is at home and averages 1.5 more DKFP per game, I think he makes for the slightly stronger play. He’s sitting on 60 touchdown passes and has thrown for 7,475 yards in our sims. In addition, New Orleans has won five consecutive home games.

Mitchell Trubisky, CHI at DAL ($5,700)

Everything I said about Brees above is a bit irrelevant. By far, Trubisky is my favorite play at the position on this slate. One of the more productive players in our Madden simulations, Trubisky is averaging 20.4 DKFP. This makes him the best fantasy player on the entire slate and he’s the second cheapest QB playing tonight. Due to his 1,439 rushing yards and 10 touchdowns on the ground, he’s been one of the most reliable players to roster.

Running Backs

Alvin Kamara, NO vs. GB ($6,700)

Kamara averages nearly the exact same DKFP as Ezekiel Elliott ($7,200). The reason I think Kamara is the stronger play of the two Pro Bowl backs is that he’s $500 cheaper and is in an easier matchup. The Bears have a formidable front-seven while the Green Bay defense was ranked 23rd in run defense DVOA last season. This has led to them allowing some big games to running backs in Madden and Kamara has a high floor due to his involvement in both the running and passing game.

Tarik Cohen, CHI at DAL ($3,600)

A boom or bust option at running back, Cohen has the potential to be the best value at the position. Oddly, it might be better for Cohen to be in a matchup against a good team than a bad team. Due to his role as the pass-catching back, he gets more playing time in the second half when the Bears are trailing than when they are holding a lead. The last time Chicago lost a sim by double-digits, Cohen scored 17.9 DKFP. Since the Cowboys have won 11 of the past 12 games, I expect this to be a spot where the Bears are trailing in the second half.

Wide Receivers

Odell Beckham Jr., CLE vs. JAX ($7,100)

Beckham is kind of like the higher-end of version of Cohen. When OBJ has good games, they are usually really good. When he has bad games, he can ruin a lineup. For example, look at his past five games. He scored at least 22 DKFP three times and in the two games he didn’t he scored single-digit DKFP. Since Beckham has a better overall rating than the Jaguars’ top cornerback, A.J. Bouye, I like his chances to have one of his good games. In total, Beckham has caught 22 touchdowns and has 2,134 receiving yards.

Ted Ginn Jr., NO vs. GB ($3,500)

One of the better cheap receivers in our sims, Ginn is averaging 13 DKFP and surprisingly doesn’t have many bad games. While he’s usually reliant on touchdowns on real life, Ginn gets frequent targets in Madden and has at least four catches in six of his past seven games. He’s tallied at least 13 DKFP in five of those games.

Tight Ends

Jared Cook, NO vs. GB ($5,300)

Cook has been about as good as any tight end in our simulations. He averages just under 14 DKFP and has hauled in 162 receptions for 1,777 yards. The only drawback to Cook is that he doesn’t score a ton of touchdowns which limits his upside a bit. He’s gone six consecutive games without scoring and only finds the end zone about once every three Madden games. I am still okay with paying up for him since we don’t have guys like Travis Kelce or George Kittle to pay for.

James O’Shaugnhessy, JAX vs. CLE ($3,700)

O’Shaugnhessy is the best play at tight end relative to price. He’s the cheapest starting tight end on this slate and averages the second most DKFP. O’Shaugnhessy is putting up 12.2 DKFP per game and has scored 23 DKFP in two of his past four games. Despite the cheap price, there is some upside in rostering him.

Defense/Special Teams

Jaguars DST at CLE ($2,100)

None of the defenses playing tonight look particularly appealing. At least the Jaguars come at a super cheap price and are playing a quarterback prone to making mistakes in Baker Mayfield ($6,000). He’s turned the ball over 12 times in our sims and Cleveland has occasionally had some simulated struggles on offense. The Browns have been held to 10 points or less in five of their past 11 games.
