NFL training camp is under way and that means news will start flowing from each team. How that news will be distributed in the time of Covid-19 restrictions is still to be seen, but news will get out one way or the other. We’ll take that news and give you our fantasy and betting analysis. And that news and analysis, including roster moves, injuries, all the way to hype videos, will be disseminated right here, on this very page for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
You might have heard the Tom Brady signed with the Buccaneers this offseason. It’s true. He brought along his assistant Rob Gronkowski and gets to throw to last season’s best wide receiver duo in Chris Godwin and Mike Evans. The expectations are sky high and rightfully so.
High fantasy/betting impact
* Coach Bruce Arians says the RB Ronald Jones is the “main guy” in the backfield. — Source — August 5
There is still a lot of camp to go and things could change in a blink of the eye, but Jones should get first-team reps over rookie Ke’Shawn Vaughn and veteran LeSean McCoy to start camp.
Low fantasy/betting impact
* Signed K Ryan Succop
* Signed C A.Q. Shipley — August 27
* Re-signed WR Spencer Schnell — August 25
* Signed DT Kyle Love — August 16
Will add some defensive line depth, but not much else
* Signed RB LeSean McCoy — August 4
McCoy will likely serve as a veteran presence behind Ronald Jones and Ke’Shawn Vaughn, but could have fantasy value if things fall his way.
