Scrimmages
There will also be two scrimmages held on August 22nd and 26th. Those start times have yet to be announced.
What to watch for
The starting offense is pretty much set for the Seahawks, as they have a veteran team with one of the best quarterbacks in the league, Russell Wilson. Tyler Lockett and DK Metcalf make up one of the better receiving duos in the league while Chris Carson has been an effective starting running back.
Carson is coming off a hip injury, so keeping tabs on his progress and how he looks compared to current backup Carlos Hyde should be interesting.
Tight end Greg Olsen has one foot out the door toward his announcing gig, but will be the likely starter at tight end for the Seahawks this year. He’ll have plenty of competition though, as Will Dissly has been cleared and Jacob Hollister has shown some upside.
The third wide receiver job is probably going to free agent acquisition Phillip Dorsett, but not much news has come from camp yet, but it will be worthwhile to see how he is making the transition to the Seahawks’ offense.
And as always, it’s just plain fun to watch Russell Wilson cook.
