The Chicago Bears made a quarterback change in Week 3 and it will continue in Week 4. Head coach Matt Nagy benched Mitchell Trubisky during the team’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, inserting Nick Foles into the starting lineup. Foles led the team on a huge comeback and will keep the job in Week 4 when the Bears host the Indianapolis Colts.
Foles entered Sunday’s game with the Bears trailing 26-10. The Bears offense had struggled to get anything going against a shaky Falcons defense, and Nagy benched Trubisky after an interception on the team’s first drive of the third quarter.
Foles came on and threw an interception on his first drive, but settled down and finished strong. Over the course of the second half, he completed 16 of 29 passes for 188 yards with three touchdowns and the interception. The Bears stormed back with 20 points in the fourth quarter to secure the comeback win.
The Bears head into Week 4 as a three-point underdog against the Colts.
