Friday night update: The Rams and Seahawks should be able to get their game in before the rain move in Saturday night. As for kickoff at 4:40 p.m. ET, the temperature will be 44 degrees with cloudy skies. There is a 17 percent chance of precipitation with the winds blowing at 3 mph SSE.

After playing a couple of weeks to go in Week 16, the Los Angeles Rams will head back to the pacific northwest to take on the Seattle Seahawks. Both teams split the season series, with Seahawks winning the most recent matchup.

Unlike their Week 16 matchup, the Rams might have a new quarterback under center in John Wolford. Wolford played well in his NFL debut last week against the Arizona Cardinals to help Los Angeles to clinch a playoff spot. However, the Seahawks led by Russell Wilson have been battle-tested all season and will not be an easy out.

Seattle, Washington Forecast: Saturday, 1/9, 4:40 ET

Temperature: 46 degrees
Wind: 5 mph
Precipitation: None, mostly cloudy

As of right now, there is no precipitation in the forecast, which is good news for both teams. If the game was being held on Sunday, then they would be dealing with the element as it may rain. But with that being said, both offenses should be able to the pass the ball around Lumen Field this weekend.

Helpful weather resources include National Weather Service and Dark Sky, among others.

Check back before kickoff for updates on these weather situations.
