The Los Angeles Rams have had a pretty successful 2020 campaign, finding their way back to the postseason with a record of 10-6 and finishing second in the NFC West. But just because their season is still happening doesn’t mean we can’t look ahead a bit to next season.
The Rams have a pretty well-rounded team for the most part, but they’re still not what they were during their Super Bowl run in the 2018 season. A big reason the team had so much success in 2018 was that their offensive line protected QB Jared Goff so well and opened up holes in the run game for then-Ram Todd Gurley. Ever since that season, the O-line has taken a step back.
The Rams could also get use out of a linebacker or another wide receiver to pair with Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods.
2021 opponents
The Rams will face their NFC West divisional opponents six times, half at home and half on the road. In addition, they draw matchups against all four teams from the AFC South and NFC North. The NFL is expected to add a 17th game to the regular-season schedule that will feature an inter-conference matchup with a similarly placed team. The Rams would face the AFC North.
