The Tennessee Titans finished the 2020 NFL season with a record of 11-5 and in first place in the AFC South. For their efforts, the Titans will have a late first round pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.
The Titans won the AFC South this season after making the playoffs last season as a wild card team. Tennessee is led by their workhorse and superstar running back Derrick Henry. The former first-round selection rushed for a career-high 2,027 yards on 378 carries and 17 touchdowns.
Along with Henry, the Titans are stacked on offense with quarterback Ryan Tannehill, wide receivers A.J. Brown, Corey Davis, and tight end Jonnu Smith. While the Titans’ offense has been clicking on all cylinders, the defense has struggled. The free-agent signing of Jadeveon Clowney has not paid off, while the secondary has giving up a ton of passing yards.
2021 opponents
The Titans will face their AFC South divisional opponents six times, half at home and half on the road. In addition, they draw matchups against all for teams from the AFC East and NFC West. The NFL is expected to add a 17th game to the regular season schedule that will feature an inter-conference matchup with a similarly placed team. The Titans would face the NFC South.
