Titans beat Bills on goal-line stand and Derrick Henry’s 3 TDs

The Tennessee Titans have upset the Buffalo Bills on Monday Night Football following a tremendous goal-line stand on fourth and inches. The matchup was a high-scoring affair, as both teams moved the ball with ease, but in the end it came down to a defensive stand, as Bills quarterback Josh Allen couldn’t get his footing. He tried for a QB sneak to win it as time ran down, but was denied. Going for the win over the tie didn’t pay off this time, but that’s Bills football and I doubt Sean McDermott regrets the call.

The offensive star for the Titans was none other than running back Derrick Henry, who continues to defy all odds and put up huge rushing numbers in a league set up to pass the ball. Henry rushed 20 times for 143 yards and three touchdowns and caught two passes for 13 more yards to help his team to a 34-31 win.

The Titans now have a firm grip on the AFC South lead at 4-2, as the second place team is the 2-4 Indianapolis Colts. The Bills fall to 4-2, but also have a big lead on the second place New England Patriots at 2-4 in the AFC East. The Bills will get to lick their wounds as they have a bye in Week 7, while the Titans will need to get back up for a big AFC matchup with the Kansas City Chiefs.
