Wide receiver Josh Gordon is indefinitely suspended by the NFL, but he has found an alternative for however long it lasts. Gordon has signed with the Zappers of the Fan Controlled Football League.

Gordon becomes an unrestricted free agent on March 17, but he remains suspended after multiple lapses in meeting conditions for NFL reinstatement.

The FCFL is an indoor league that has backing from the likes of Marshawn Lynch, Richard Sherman, and other current and former NFL players. The league plays 7 vs. 7 on a 50-yard field with no special teams. Games stream live on Twitch and are one-hour in length. Fans vote on a variety of aspects around the game including weekly rosters, plays, and more. It’s about as unique a game of football as you’re going to find right now.
