The NFL announced the complete 2021 schedule on Wednesday, May 12, and the Cleveland Browns are officially set to kick off their 2021 season in Kansas City against the Chiefs at 4:25 PM. Their first divisional game will be in Week 8 against the Pittsburgh Steelers at home.

Cleveland had a breakthrough season last year with their first playoff berth since 2002. The Browns earned a Wild Card spot with an 11-5 record and handled the Pittsburgh Steelers in the playoffs before being bounced in the divisional round in a close game with the Kansas City Chiefs. Cleveland upgraded on the defensive side of the ball in the offseason and went with former Northwestern Wildcats cornerback Greg Newsome II with their first round pick. The Browns exercised the fifth-year option for Baker Mayfield, and they should expect to be a playoff team for the second season in a row.

All times listed are Eastern.
