Tom Brady gets off jokes at Bucs Super Bowl celebration that would work at White House Correspondents Dinner

A New England-free Tom Brady speaking his mind has been a joy to watch.

The uncensored version of Tom Brady since his arrival in Tampa last year has been something to behold. His social media is unfiltered, his trash talk accelerated, and he seems to be a much more normal human than the rest of us ever thought.

Brady famously doesn’t say much politically, but here he is taking a picture with Democratic candidate for Florida’s governorship Nikki Fried, and oh wow The GOAT has jokes at the White House as well!

“Not a lot of people think that we could have won. In fact, 40 percent still don’t think we won. You understand that, Mr. President?”

We had a game in Chicago where I forgot what down it was. I lost track of one down in 21 years of playing, and they started calling me ‘Sleepy Tom.’ Why would they do that to me?

Pretty, pretty good Tom! Not quite Seth Meyers in 2011, or Barack Obama that same night right before the raid to kill Osama bin Laden, but still very strong.

Whatever you think about Brady’s career on the field, it’s clear he’s enjoying his time in Tampa much more than he did in New England. And it’s not the first time he’s been to the Presidential residence either, as teammate Donovan Smith also got off a pretty good line asking the seven-time champ “you got residency here?”
