SBNation’s Blogging The Boys recaps Dallas Cowboys’ Hard Knocks Episode One

Hard Knocks is back and this year, they’re tackling “America’s Team”.

The Dallas Cowboys are the subjects for this year’s edition of the annual show on HBO and there are plenty of intriguing storylines out of their training camp site in Oxnard, CA. They’ll highlight the five-episode series that will start at 10 p.m. ET each and run just under an hour. The first episode airs on Tuesday, August 10 and each Tuesday thereafter.

Franchise quarterback Dak Prescott is back after suffering a brutal ankle injury in 2020 while star running back Ezekiel Elliott is looking to bounce back after rushing for career lows last year. The season is bound to throw young superstars like CeeDee Lamb and Micah Parsons into the national spotlight while highlighting Cowboy legends like Jimmy Johnson and Drew Pearson being inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in Canton, OH.

The Hard Knocks series is featured on HBO, but if you don’t have an HBO subscription through your cable provider, you’ll still be able to watch via live stream. To do so, you’ll need a subscription to HBO Max streaming service. Once you’ve got a subscription, HBO Max has apps available to stream on most devices, including iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, gaming consoles and more.
