What channel Dolphins vs. Bears is on, how to watch it via live stream, what time it starts

The Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears are facing off for Week 1 of the 2021 NFL preseason, airing on local television. We break down how to watch the matchup, particularly if you’re outside the broadcast region.

Will Tua and Devante Parker mesh well in their first full season together?

The Miami Dolphins and Chicago Bears meet up in Week 1 of the 2021 NFL preseason at Soldier Field in Chicago. Kickoff is set for 1:00 p.m. ET and the game will air on WFOR 4 (CBS) in Miami and FOX32 in Chicago. Given that this is the preseason, we’ll see plenty of unknown and lesser known faces on the rosters. To keep track of who you’re watching checking out the Dolphins roster and the Bears roster.

The game is on NFL Network as well. You can stream NFL Network but you will need a cable log-in. If you don’t have one, you can get a free trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the channel.

Additionally if you are not in the Dolphins or Bears markets, you can view this game via live online stream through NFL Game Pass. If you are not planning on watching every week of the preseason, the service offers a free seven-day trial.

The Dolphins are coming off of a 10-win season a year ago, but they failed to reach the playoffs even with double-digit wins. The team squashed trade drama with DB Xavien Howard recently, so the defense should be as good as ever. The offense got upgrades around Tua Tagovailoa with wideouts Will Fuller and first-round draft pick Jaylen Waddle, though it's unclear how much they’ll play in preseason week one. Chicago is coming off an 8-8 year and the hype is rightfully around rookie QB Justin Fields. All eyes will be on him in his first taste of NFL action.

The Bears are a 3.5-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook and -180 on the moneyline. The Dolphins are a +155 moneyline underdog with the game’s point total is installed at 36.
