WR Marquez Stevenson put up 1,019 yards at University of Houston the season after tearing his ACL in 2018. The year after that he added 907 yards, and had nine touchdowns in both seasons. The Buffalo Bills took him in the sixth round of the NFL Draft and he immediately created some payoff with a clutch reception to close out the first preseason game.

Three receptions, 50 yards, no touchdowns
Analysis
It’s not an amazing stat line, but Stevenson had a 42-yard reception at the ideal time for Buffalo. Take a look.

The Bills are going to have Stefon Diggs, Gabriel Davis, Cole Bealsey and Emmanuel Sanders in the fold. However, Stevenson showed he can get separation and make a play in a key situation. That’ll help his cause when it comes to making the team.
Fantasy implications
Unless there’s a massive slew of injuries, it’s unlikely Stevenson sees the field for Buffalo on offense. However, he could be a factor on special teams before eventually seeing some snaps offensively. Stevenson could be a bigger presence as a receiver down the line if he develops, but for this year he’ll be a spot player at best.
