The game will air on FOX 2 in the Lions market, while the Steelers broadcast map can be found here. Pittsburgh prevailed in its second game of the preaseason last Thursday, a 24-16 victory over the Philadelphia Eagles. The most interesting development from the game was the ongoing battle for backup quarterback with Dwayne Haskins, Mason Rudolph, and Joshua Dobbs all getting a sizeable number of reps. Haskins played the most, going 16-of-22 through the air for 161 yards and a touchdown.
The Lions fell to the Buffalo Bills 16-15 last Friday by way of a last-minute field goal from Bills kicker Tyler Bass. Surprisingly, Jared Goff got plenty of action in the preseason opener, completing seven of nine passes for 56 yards and also taking a sack before handing the reigns to David Blough and Tim Boyle for the night.
