HBO’s Hard Knocks will feature the Dallas Cowboys for the 2021 NFL season, set to broadcast just ahead of Week 1 of the preseason. The Cowboys took the stage a little early this season, though, being featured in the 2021 Hall of Fame Game facing the Pittsburgh Steelers. Dallas took the loss with their backups leading the charge at the HOF game, but GM/owner Jerry Jones will hope to see the team improve on their 2020 season with their starts back and (hopefully) healthy.
The 2021 Cowboys preseason will definitely an interesting one, as viewers will get an inside look at several big-time storylines affect the NFL and fantasy football alike. Dak Prescott looks to return from the ankle that ended his 2020 season prematurely (and now a training camp shoulder injury), with a new $160 million contract in tow. Running back Ezekiel Elliott will look to bounce back after a down-season amidst one of the best receiving corps in the league. In addition to the team studs, there’s always one or two longshots to make the roster that the film crew will have us rooting for throughout the series.
The Hard Knocks series is featured on HBO, but if you don’t have an HBO subscription through your cable provider, you’ll still be able to watch via livestream. To do so, you’ll need a subscription to HBO Max streaming service. You can sign up for the basic streaming with commercials for $9.99 per month or $99 per year, while commercial free streaming is available for $14.99 per month ($149.99 per year).
Once you’ve got a subscription, HBO Max has apps available to stream on most devices, including iOS, Android, Roku, Apple TV, gaming consules and more.
