Encouraging but we all have to wait and see!! #GoBolts #GoStars #TBLvsDAL #StanleyCup @953WDAE
Stamkos is of the deadliest power play snipers in hockey, and the two-time Rocket Richard Trophy winner as the league’s leading scorer has 422 career goals, of which 155 have come with the man advantage.
The captain has played all 12 of his NHL seasons with the Lightning, and was given the C by the club in 2015. He’s been missing since February 25th due to surgery on a core muscle, then an additional “lower-body” injury the details of which have been murky. We’ll see how he plays on the ice after such a long layoff, but he’ll likely provide a huge emotional lift to his teammates at minimum.
Before the announcement, the Lightning were -157 favorites to win Game 3, with Dallas the underdog at +135. The puck line has Tampa Bay at -1.5 +170, and Dallas at +1.5 with -205 odds.
