The NHL announced the full schedule for the 2021-22 season and we’ve got all the details. The Seattle Kraken made their picks in the 2021 NHL Expansion Draft on Wednesday night and now we know who they’ll open their inaugural season against: the 2017 expansion team, the Vegas Golden Knights.

On top of that, the Stanley Cup champion Tampa Bay Lightning will open the season on Oct. 12 on opening night at home against the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Bolts will have their second straight championship banner raising ceremony, which will be a bit more meaningful this time around.

Another notable opener is the New York Islanders first game in their new arena at Belmont, UBS Arena. The Isles will play their first game outside of The Barn at Nassau Coliseum/Barclays Center in Brooklyn, against the Calgary Flames on Nov. 20.

A rematch of the 2021 Stanley Cup Final between the Lightning and Montreal Canadiens will happen on Tuesday, Dec. 7 at Bell Centre. The 2022 Winter Classic will take place at Target Field in Minneapolis, Minnesota, between the St. Louis Blues and Minnesota Wild on Jan. 1, 2022. The NHL All-Star Game will be held in Las Vegas from Feb. 4-5.
