How to watch Round 1 of the 2021 NHL Draft via live stream

Here’s how you can tune in to the 2021 NHL draft being broadcast across multiple platforms Friday, July 23rd.

Amateur Scout Todd Harvey, general manager Jim Benning and assistant general manager John Weisbrod of the Vancouver Canucks sits at the draft table during the rounds 2-7 of the 2020 NHL Entry Draft at Bell MTS Place on October 07, 2020 in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. The 2021 NHL Draft will take place remotely from NHL Network studios on Friday, July 23rd at 8:30 p.m. ET. The Buffalo Sabres were awarded the No. 1 overall pick after winning the draft lottery about a month ago. The Sabres will have to pick between two pretty solid prospects in Michigan D Owen Power and C Matthiew Beniers. Both players have tons of upside it really comes down to if the Sabres go best available or draft for positional need.

Behind the Sabres are the expansion Seattle Kraken, entering their inaugural season after selecting their roster on Wednesday night. This pick will be huge for a Kraken team lacking depth at forward. We could see the Kraken go Beniers at No. 2 if Power is the pick by Buffalo. Swedish forward William Eklund, and Canadian forwards Mason McTavish and Dylan Guenther are also considerations with the second pick.

Below is some info on how you can steam the first round of the NHL Draft, which will take place Friday night. Rounds 2-7 will be on Saturday.
