Olympic medal events to watch on Saturday

We take a look at the medal events on the schedule for Saturday in the 2021 Tokyo Summer Olympics.

The Opening Ceremony is a wrap for the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, and while events have been going on for three days now, things pick up steam in a big way on Saturday. The day will see 23 different sports in action, but more importantly, the first gold medals will be distributed. Qualifying rounds can be interesting given the world class nature of these athletes, but the medal round is when the pressure feels real and we get some drama.
