American Torri Huske was edged out from medaling by a finger in the 100-meter butterfly final, and the DraftKings Sportsbook favorite, Chinese swimmer Zhang Yufei was edged out by even less for the gold.
Canadian Margaret Mac Neil edged everybody out to take home the gold, finishing the race in 55.59. Yufei claimed silver finishing .05 seconds behind. Australian Emme McKeon won the bronze finishing .13 seconds back of Mac Neil. How close was Huske from a medal? She finished .14 back of Mac Neil for fourth place, which means she finished .01 back of McKeon. Absolute craziness.
Here is the full video of what will be one of the closest finishes we’ll see in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.
