USA Women’s Basketball begins their campaign for a seventh-straight Olympic gold medal, and they’ll open pool play against Nigeria at 12:40 a.m. on Tuesday, July 27th at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
Sue Bird, Breanna Stewart, Diana Taurasi, and some players that actually didn’t go to UConn will be looking for the ninth gold in 10 tries, and will open their campaign against Nigeria. The Americans are 29.5 favorites at DraftKings Sportsbook.
And speaking of UConn’ers, Stefanie Dolson and her teammates will face Japan in the final match of pool play in the Women’s 3x3 event. The Americans are 6-0, and will be first place in Pool B no matter the result of this game.
