The USA is back on the beach and the court for Day 5 of the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games.
The COVID-modified team of Jake Gibb and Tri Bourne will be on the court against the Swiss team of Adrian Heidrich and Mirco Gerson at 10:00 p.m. ET. Gibb at 45 years old is one of the senior athletes in the field, and Gerson steps in for Taylor Crabb who is out due to pandemic protocols. The team looks to secure their advancing to the next round with a second pool win.
And at Ariake Arena, the American men get back on the court against Tunisia at 10:05 p.m. following a disappointing loss to the ROC team. Team USA is a -7500 favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook and getting off the bus should be enough to get a victory, but they’ll want to sharpen up their serve receive after struggling to pass against the not-called-Russians.
