Full swimming schedule for Wednesday, July 28th in the Tokyo 2021 Summer Olympics

We’ve got five medal events tonight in the pool, and Katie Ledecky is in both of them.

The first is the women’s 200 meter freestyle, where Australia’s Ariarne Titmus and Team USA’s Katie Ledecky will do battle once again. Titmus won the 400 meter event two nights ago, and is the -300 favorite to Ledecky’s +250 underdog.

But the 200 is just a warmup for Ledecky, as the 1500 meter freestyle begins just 73 minutes later. The Stanford undergrad is one of the biggest favorites at the Games in the event, which is being contested at the Olympics for the first time. She’s -2000 at DraftKings Sportsbook to take away gold, and has the 12-fastest times in human history in the event. And that number was even bigger until China’s Jianjiahe Wang got 13th during the heats for tonight’s final.

Also the men’s 200 meter butterfly with Hungary’s Kristof Milak is tonight. Milak is -3500 at DK, and was 2.75 seconds faster than any of his competition in the preliminaries, and is also the world record holder at 1:50.73.
