The 100-meter dash is often used to ascribe the label "world's fastest man" and while it is probably not the most accurate label, it still gives the rave a certain gravitas. This year at the Tokyo Olympics, we had a stunner.
Italian sprinter Marcell Jacobs took home the gold with a 9.80 run. American Fred Kerley took home silver with a 9.84 and Canadian Andre De Grasse took bronze with a 9.89. Usain Bolt retains the world and Olympics records of 9.58 and 9.63.
