The USA Women’s National Team finished up group play with a perfect 3-0 record and will continue their quest for a gold medal in the quarterfinal round against Australia Wednesday at 12:40 a.m. ET. The game will not air on TV until a 10 p.m. airing on USA Network.

Team USA, which is led by an All-Star group of WNBA superstars wrapped up group play with 93-82 win over France. As for the Opals, they had a record 1-2 in Group C play. Their lone victory happened on Monday, where they won 96-69 over Puerto Rico.
This is the second time that the USA Women’s National Team and Australia will playing each other in the last three weeks. On July 18, Australia defeated Team USA 70-67 in an exhibition game in Las Vegas. In that game, the US shot 37.3% from the field and 11.1% from three-point range. Breanna Stewart and A’ja Wilson were the only two players in double figures with 17 and 12 points respectively. Meanwhile, the Opals shot 45.8% from the perimeter and 38.5% from distance. Ezi Magbegor led the Aussie women with a team-high 17 points.
