There are eight medals on tap to be handed out on the penultimate day of racing inside Tokyo Olympic Stadium at the 2020 Games.
Maria Andrejczyk of Poland is the +120 favorite in the women’s javelin at DraftKings Sportsbook, but keep an eye on Team USA’s Maggie Malone at +400, the third choice by the odds. 12 competitors made the final which begins at 7:50 p.m. ET on Thursday night.
The women’s 400m will feature Allyson Felix going for even more history as one of the premiere American stars of all-time in athletics. But she’ll be well behind Shaunae Miller-Uibo of the Bahamas on the odds boards. Miller-Uibo is -175 to win the Bahamas first gold in this race, whereas Felix will start in Lane 9 and have to run two full curves as a +1200 underdog.
And tonight Team USA looks to avoid another disaster in the relays, but they’re the second choice in the women’s 4x100m. Jamaica is the -500 favorite, with the USA and Great Britain both +550 to take home gold.
Also there’s race walking with a 50k men’s and 20k women’s race, but that’s not a real sport and everyone cheats.
