The US Women’s National Team is only a couple wins away from winning another gold medal after defeating Australia 79-55 in the quarterfinal on Wednesday. Team USA will continue their quest for gold in the semifinals against Serbia on Friday at 12:40 a.m. ET on NBC and again on replay at 4:15 p.m.on NBC Sports Network. Serbia defeated China 77-70 in a massive upset in the first quarterfinal game at Saitama Super Arena.

Team USA dominated the Opals on Wednesday after suffering a three-point exhibition loss to them last month in Las Vegas, Nevada. Future Hall of Fame forward Breanna Stewart led both teams with 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting from the field and had 5 rebounds. Brittney Griner added 15 points, while A’ja Wilson contributed 10 points in 15 minutes. Team USA will need to keep their eyes on Jelena Brooks, who had 18 points against China, and Sonja Vasic, who contributed 16 points.
