Who is playing in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics basketball bronze medal game

Here are the two teams competing for the bronze medal in men’s basketball at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics.

The 2021 Tokyo Olympics conclude this weekend and medals will be handed out for men’s basketball on Saturday. The United States will face France in the gold medal game at 10:30 p.m. ET on Friday, August 6 and Australia will face Slovenia in the bronze medal game at 7 a.m. on Saturday, August 7.

The bronze medal game will air via live stream at NBCOlympics.com and through the NBC Sports app. You’ll need a cable subscription for access, so if you don’t have one, you can get a trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the game.

Australia vs. Slovenia, Bronze Medal Game, August 7

How Australia got here: The Opals won their group with three straight wins over Nigeria (84-67), Italy (86-83), and Germany (89-76). They beat Argentina 97-59 in the quarterfinals before losing 97-78 to the United States in the semifinals.

How Slovenia got here: Slovenia won their group with three straight wins over Argentina (118-100), Japan (116-81), and Spain (95-87). They beat Germany 94-70 in the quarterfinals before losing to France
