The 2021 Tokyo Olympics are into the final weekend of the schedule and we get four gold medals on the line at Kokugikan Arena. The middleweight gold will be decided when Ukraine’s Oleksandr Khyzhniak faces off against Brazil’s Hebert Sousa. The fight is scheduled to start at 2:45 p.m. local time, which is 1:45 a.m. ET in the United States.
The middleweight gold medal bout will air live via online stream at NBCOlympics.com and through the NBC Sports mobile app. It will then air on replay at 3:45 p.m. ET Saturday afternoon on USA. If you aren’t in front of a TV, you can also get a trial from YouTube TV, Hulu with Live TV, AT&T TV Now, FuboTV, or Sling TV to stream the fight.
Khyzhniak is the top seed in this tournament and is favored to win at DraftKings Sportsbook. He is installed at -390 to win while Sousa is a +300 underdog. Khyzhniak won his first two knockout stage bouts handily before having to dig deep to win a 3-2 semifinal over Filipino boxer Eumir Marcial. Sousa had to go to the wire in his first two knockout stage bouts with 3-2 wins before securing a 4-1 semifinal win over ROC boxer Gleb Bakshi.
