Week 5 of the NFL season still has potentially two games left on the schedule with Monday Night Football between the Saints and Chargers ready to roll. Before that kicks off, though, you can start your Monday with three Madden sims on the DraftKings Dream Stream, each with its own single-game Showdown contests. The three games are also part of the early classic slate, which starts at 12:00 p.m. ET with an NFC East matchup between the Eagles and Washington. At 2:00 p.m. ET, the Bucs travel to virtual Houston to face the Texans, as Tom Brady ($7,100) takes on Deshaun Watson ($7,500) in a good QB matchup. The final matchup of the day also has a pair of star QBs, as Cam Newton ($6,800) and the Patriots go on the road to visit Russell Wilson ($7,700) and the Seahawks at 4:00 p.m. ET.
The roster for each team includes all player movement that occurred prior to Week 1 of this season and you can find the depth charts, abilities and X-factors for Madden 21 along with the upcoming schedule on the Madden Stream info page. The rosters have also been adjusted to get the best players on the field and will not be impacted by any COVID-19 opt-outs or injuries.

Russell Wilson, Seattle Seahawks vs. New England Patriots, $7,700 — Wilson has shown the ability to put up a ton of fantasy production in multiple ways in these sims and is truly an elite option at the position. He had 31.22 DKFP the first time he faced the Patriots, throwing for 198 yards and three touchdowns while running for 53 yards and another score. He also had a big game in his most recent sim with 72 yards and three rushing scores while throwing for 214 yards and another touchdown on his way to 37.28 DKFP. In his 12 sims, Russ has thrown for 21 touchdowns and just two interceptions while running for 61.8 yards per game and adding six rushing touchdowns. He can dominate on the ground or through the air and has shown that he can have success even in this specific matchup. He has had a little bit of fumble trouble, but other than that has been a great play almost every time he has taken the field in simland.
Other Options — Deshaun Watson ($7,500), Tom Brady ($7,100)
Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Football Team, $6,400 — Wentz is significantly cheaper than the top three options on the slate but is still averaging over 20 DFKP per contest. He has thrown for 21 touchdowns in his 11 sims with multiple scores in three of his past four games resulting in over 17 DKFP in each of those contests. He had 31.68 DKFP with 367 yards and three scores in a win against the Texans, showing his ceiling, and he has over 20 DKFP in six of his 11 contests, showing his consistency. He did face Washington in his first Madden 21 sim and produced 271 yards, a touchdown and 22.14 DKFP. He added a rushing score in that contest, which isn’t something he does all the time but is something he has the ratings and abilities to make happen when necessary.
Other Option — Cam Newton ($6,800)
Miles Sanders, Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Football Team, $6,800 — Sanders has been an excellent Madden option since he remains so involved in the passing game as well as getting all the work as the RB1. He has averaged 3.4 catches for 22.2 yards as a receiver out of the backfield in addition to his 55.6 rushing yards per game. With eight total touchdowns in his 11 sims, he has averaged a solid 15.2 DKFP per contest and produced over 14 DKFP in five straight games coming into this matchup. In his first Madden 21 sim against Washington, he only managed 10.6 DKFP, but his recent run of results make him the top high-priced RB to target on this slate.
Other Options — Leonard Fournette ($6,000), Chris Carson ($5,400)
LeSean McCoy, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Houston Texans, $3,700 — McCoy has been very involved in Tampa Bay’s offense throughout their 11 Madden 21 sims. He has served as the third-down back and averaged 3.3 catches for 22.2 yards per sim. He only has one touchdown, which came on a rushing play, but has still managed to produce 7.4 DKFP per sim. He has over seven DKFP in four of his past six contests, which is a solid return for a player under $4K who allows you the salary to pay up for superstars in your other slots.
Other Options — David Johnson ($4,700), James White ($4,500)
Chris Godwin, Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Houston Texans, $6,900 — Just one more reminder — everyone is healthy in simland and as a result, Godwin makes for a solid play as the Bucs visit the Texans, who have a struggling secondary. While the Bucs’ offense has had its ups and downs in these sims, Godwin has been a consistent contributor, catching at least three passes in all but one of his 11 contests and averaging 4.7 receptions for 58.5 yards per game. He has scored seven touchdowns as well, including three in his past five contests. In his most recent sim, he had a bit of a down game against the Bears but had posted over 11 DKFP in his previous eight sims. His consistent workload as Tom Brady’s slot receiver makes him a solid WR play on this slate as long as virtual Brady can keep track of what down it is.
Other Option — DeSean Jackson ($6,500), DK Metcalf ($6,100)
N’Keal Harry, New England Patriots at Seattle Seahawks, $5,600 — While Seattle’s defense is hard-hitting and turnover-creating, they do also give up plenty of yardage and points in most matchups. Harry has a very high ceiling for a play under $6K, as he has shown by going off for over 21 DKFP in three of his past six contests. The best of those big games came against the Seahawks when he had 10 catches for 116 yards, two touchdowns and 35.6 DKFP in their first sim meeting. He has at least three catches in five of his past six games and has been a solid WR1 for Newton and the Patriots.
Marquise Goodwin, Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Football Team, $4,000 — Goodwin has only two players in all of Madden faster than him — Tyreek Hill and Henry Ruggs III. He has a 97 speed rating which gives him a ton of big-play ability. He has stepped in as the slot option for the Eagles in their seven games since the latest roster update and averaged 3.9 catches for 43.7 yards per sim. During that stretch, he posted a pair of games over 18 DKFP when he broke big plays, including his single touchdown. He can be boom-or-bust depending on his involvement, but he has the potential to go off for a huge game against a Washington secondary that struggles against slot receivers with top-tier speed like Goodwin.
Other Options — Scotty Miller ($5,300), Brandin Cooks ($5,100), Terry McLaurin ($4,300)
Jeremy Sprinkle, Washington Football Team vs. Philadelphia Eagles, $4,800 — Sprinkle isn’t very involved in the real-life Washington offense, but he has been a nice contributor in Madden 21. He is coming off back-to-back games with exactly six catches and a touchdown to post 19.2 DKFP against the Vikings and 20.4 DKFP against the Rams. He has over a dozen DKFP in four of his past six sims and is averaging a solid 12.3 DKFP per contest. He only had 8.4 DKFP against the Eagles in the teams’ first meeting but did have five catches, showing the potential is there for more if he gets similar volume in this rematch. He has the same average as Zach Ertz ($5,200) but comes at a discount in a slightly better matchup for TEs.
Other Options— Zach Ertz ($5,200), Greg Olsen ($4,600)
Devin Asiasi, New England Patriots at Seattle Seahawks, $4,400 — Asiasi has also been a strong play in Madden, operating out of the Patriots’ playbook that made Ben Watson legendary in Madden 2020. Asiasi has exactly three catches in six straight sims and is averaging 4.1 catches for 43.4 yards per contest to go with his three touchdowns. He has been a very steady option but also brings some upside since he does usually draw plenty of targets.
Other Options— Darren Fells ($4,200), Rob Gronkowski ($4,000)
Seahawks DST vs. New England Patriots, $3,200 — The Seahawks have been outstanding in Madden 21 thanks to their big-hitting duo of Bobby Wagner and Jamal Adams. In their 12 sims, they have an amazing 20 fumble recoveries in addition to two interceptions and 28 sacks. The Seahawks have averaged 9.6 DKFP per game and have at least 10 DKFP in six of their past seven games, including 11.0 DKFP in their first meeting with the Patriots.
Other Option— WAS Football Team ($3,100)
Buccaneers DST at Houston Texans, $2,900 — The Bucs haven’t created nearly the turnovers that the Seahawks have, but they have been able to get consistent pressure on opposing QBs. They have 29 sacks in their 11 games and have produced 4.2 DKFP per contest. Although they haven’t shown the same ceiling as Seattle, they still make a decent pivot if you don’t want to go with the obvious option.
